Omega Fire

Computational Modelling

ComputationMod_smOmega Fire has invested heavily in state of the art computational modeling equipment enabling them to offer a full range of computational techniques to fully support traditional analysis methods. We utilise powerful modelling servers to ensure that any modeling is run quickly and that the results are available to inform the design team at the earliest opportunity.

Computational modeling is an invaluable tool which allows a multitude of design scenarios to be evaluated in a relatively short space of time; the data generated by the model is refined and presented in a concise format.

This assists greatly in streamlining the approvals process by providing the approval authorities with sufficient information to take a balanced view of the alternative solution.

Omega fire are able to use computational modeling techniques to provide the maximum benefit to the client; in short by allowing a more specific analysis we are able to streamline the impact of fire safety systems on building layouts and budgets without lowering the level of safety.

Omega Fire have used computational techniques to address issues such as single means of escape, extended travel distances, smoke ventilation optimisation, exit width restrictions, and structural fire resistance ratings reductions.
